Here is what the prophecy of December 19, 1954 says.
54-1219E — The Acts of the Holy Spirit Rev. William Marrion Branham
87 I believe one of these glorious days, when this confederation of united churches comes together, and that according to prophecy, the new pope coming out of the United States will be installed over there, then they will make an image unto the beast.
And I tell you, the real Church of God will be forced to gather together. The real, genuine believers who are among the Methodists, the Baptists, the Presbyterians, the Pentecostals, the Nazarenes, the Pilgrim Holiness, and what have you, will gather together, and will be cemented by the love of God, they will form the Body of the Lord Jesus Christ, all the believers.
And the agnostics and shallow-minded will be set aside; they will go forward and enter into the confederation of churches.
88 And the other day, I read that even the Assemblies of God entered into the confederation of churches. Oh, my! To do that, they have to deny their evangelical doctrine. That is true.
And they will be forced to deny all their principles based on Pentecostal signs and wonders to be part of the confederation of churches. Oh, brother, they have to deny that to have prestige.
89 I would rather, as I have often said, lie flat on my stomach, drink plain water, eat crackers, and be popular in the eyes of God, and be His servant of God, than to have the best that this world has, if I found myself obligated to compromise on my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His Bible.
I believe that This is the infallible Word of God, and that every Word in It is true. Yes, sir.
64-0126 - What Shall I Do With Jesus Called Christ?

61 What does that do? It makes an image unto the beast. It is a satellite of Rome. The Ecumenical Council is forcing, and will force all Protestant denominations to join it; and practically all are already in there now, Full Gospel and the rest. The hour is coming when they will have to come in, or stay out, and at that time, when that force comes, you will have already identified yourselves with the mark of the beast. That is absolutely right.
63 Here is what the Church must believe: the Word of God; and “let every man’s word be a lie.” It is supposed to be that way.

61 What does that do? It makes an image of the beast. It's a satellite of Rome. The World Council is forcing, and will force, all Protestant denominations to join it; and practically all of them are already in it now, those of the Full Gospel and the others. The time is coming when they will have to come in, or stay out, and at that point, when that coercion comes, you will already have identified yourselves with the mark of the beast. That's quite right.
62 And, today, that similar case has come again, when the Holy Spirit has come upon us in the last days and identified Himself right in our church, and has proven the same works that He did when He was here in the fulness upon Jesus Christ. He did the same thing upon the Bride, doing the same thing, and still we want to get rid of It.
63 This is what the Church must believe: the Word of God; and “that every word of man be recognized as a lie.” That is supposed to be so.
